Leadership Development Program Coordinator

IntegralOrg is seeking to hire a Leadership Development Program Coordinator (0.8 FTE – 30 hours/week). This position will report to the President & CEO and provide planning and operational support for a new program – the Calgary Workforce Leadership Development Initiative (CWLDI). The Calgary Workforce Leadership Development Initiative will create and support a learning community of nonprofit leaders that strengthens opportunities for collaboration while enhancing individual and organizational capacity.  

In this role, you will assist with the overall planning, development, administration, and operations of the CWLDI. This position will be a good fit for individuals who are creative, able to manage multiple priorities at once, and have a background in nonprofit program development. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and project management skills, be able to handle multiple work focuses, enjoy working in a small focused team environment, and will have the drive, creativity, and commitment to support the creation of this exciting new initiative.  

Key Duties   

  • Supporting workflow, development, and execution of the CWLDI, as well as working closely with IntegralOrg staff and external contractors. 
  • Developing and coordinating program logistics, including event planning, scheduling meetings, drafting agendas, and providing facilitation support.
  • Liaising directly with program participants, guest speakers, facilitators, and vendors.
  • Handling program administration and data collection.
  • Assisting with funder reports and tracking details of funding agreements and bursaries.
  • Documenting key processes and procedures and updating as necessary.
  • Contributing ideas for ongoing improvement and effective delivery of high-quality, well-coordinated programs and services to nonprofits and charities. 

Key Experience

  • At least three years of experience in a nonprofit environment.
  • Strong communication skills (oral & written).
  • Advanced Microsoft 365 skills, with an ability to become familiar with other software specific to the organization.
  • Ability to maintain an electronic filing system.
  • Knowledge of the nonprofit sector.

  • Ability to multitask and maintain close attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Project management and program design skills.
  • Ability to set priorities and follow through. 
  • Creative problem-solving skills.        

Salary and Benefits 

The salary range for this position is $42,000 to $44,000 for 30.0 hours/week (0.8 FTE), commensurate with qualifications and experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, flexibility with a hybrid in-office / remote-work model, and a collaborative team environment that values professional development and continual learning.
