The COVID-19 pandemic has continually created urgency for nonprofit organizations to understand and comply with Alberta Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) legislation. Furthermore, OHS legislation was overhauled in 2018 and revised again in following years, including most recently in late 2021, setting new standards that all employers – including those in the nonprofit sector – must comply with. This workshop provides an overview of the recent legislation changes to facilitate getting your organization on the right track with OHS processes, policies, and a safer workplace.
