Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) legislation in Alberta was recently overhauled to bring it up to speed with the rest of Canada, setting new standards that all employers – including those in the non-profit sector – must comply with.

Did you know, for example, that the OHS Act's definition of workers includes volunteers?

Compliance can often feel overwhelming, but IntegralOrg is here to help get you on your way to OHS compliance and a safer workplace. Join us for this workshop, which provides an overview of the recent legislation changes, an intro to our online toolkit, and help with getting your organization on the right track for all your OHS processes and policies.

IntegralOrg is working with the City of Leduc and Leduc County to present a series of workshops on the second Wednesday of the month from January to April 2020, meant to help you strengthen your organization and set you up for success.

Cost of each workshop is $20.

Wednesday, January 8: Bringing Your Budget to Life

Wednesday, February 12: Occupational Health and Safety

Wednesday, March 11: HR Basics

Wednesday, April 8: Fundraising

Earlier in the day of each workshop, there is the opportunity for organizations to attend a clinic - a FREE, one-on-one, 1-hour consultation with IntegralOrg about a specific issue or question that you have. We’re happy to discuss any challenges you are facing. Please feel free to bring up to four members from your organization to these face-to-face clinics.

Availability is limited. To arrange for a clinic, contact Elana Hansen, Volunteer Resource Administrator, Community Development, City of Leduc/Volunteer Leduc at 780-980-7166 or ehansen@leduc.ca
