Bob Hawkesworth

Bob Hawkesworth has had a long career in public elected office. Bob served for 23 years as a member of Calgary City Council and for two terms as a Member of the Alberta Legislature for Calgary Mountainview.  

Bob is CEO of Hawkesworth Strategies, a consulting and facilitation practice that serves a variety of clients in the areas of environment, energy, governance, housing, human resources, advocacy, government relations, risk management, and community engagement.

He has received many awards and recognitions including: United Way Spirits of Gold Award for Co-Chairing the Calgary Homeless Initiative; Alberta Venture Magazine – Alberta’s 50 Most Influential People; Alberta Urban Municipalities Association (AUMA) – Award of Excellence and Honorary Life Member Award for serving with distinction on behalf of Alberta municipalities and communities; and the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal – for Alberta municipal leadership.
