Sharon Carry

After a 47-year career in higher education, including two decades as President and CEO of Bow Valley College, Sharon Carry continues to contribute to community as a volunteer. She has been a founder, chair, or director of 20 not-for-profit local, provincial, national, and international organizations. While she has served on every board subcommittee, she has often led the governance and human resources committees. Sharon has received 20 awards recognizing her commitment to building better communities, including the Alberta Order of Excellence, the City of Calgary Award for Education, Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women, an honorary Blackfoot name and headdress, three Queen Elizabeth II medals, and three honourary degrees. She is inspired by the mission of IntegralOrg and honoured to serve on the IntegralOrg Board.
